Jamie and Steve met at the Henry's bar downtown. Jamie picked Steve up in the bar but she will say Steve picked her up. They dated several years and then Steve proposed in 2014 in Bahia Honda State Park Beach in the Keys. Jamie thought Steve was going to propose on the trip. But the jeweler made the wrong ring. Steve showed the picture of the wrong ring to Jamie and she was then convinced he was not going to propose on the trip. He had the ring (though made wrong) shipped to Florida and proposed. Right before he proposed Jamie said.... this would have been the perfect place for you to propose if they did not mess up the ring.Jamie's parents were there with them on the beach when he proposed.
