Preparing for your Photoshoot.

When getting your portrait taken there are a couple areas where a little advanced preparation can make a huge difference. Remember, these tips are here to help you think of ideas for preparing for your shoot , but are definitely not required or even necessary for everybody. Just choose what fits in your budget, lifestyle and current beauty regimen and go from there. Ill keep it short and simple.

Whiten teeth:

Crest sells white strips that whiten in a week or less for a quick whiteness boost.

Get a trim

Even a simple trim can make a huge difference. your hair will look healthier and vibrant.

Touch up your roots:

If you dye your hair , touching up the roots3 days before the photoshoot is ideal.

Deep condition:

You can use your favorite deep conditioner or protein pack at home. leave it on while you also put your gooey facial masque on or read a book. Your call.

Exfoliate :

Plan to exfoliate a couple times before your photoshoot. Do not pick your pimple. A pimple is very easy to cover with makeup, but scabs, wounds and flaky patches are more tricky.

Pick a couple outfits:

Your portrait should be a reflection of you, just more polished. Choose outfits you love and feel confident in. Bring a couple colors. Dark and light both . Your photographer will help you pick whats best for your photoshoot.

Get a manicure:

While you're at it, toss a pedicure. possibly book it a day before your photoshoot. Soft natural colors work well for fingertips. Think about the outfits you're bringing that will compliment your choices.

Wax eyebrows:

This is highly recommended as it makes a huge difference in your face to have nice shaped clean eyebrows that will make your eyes look more beautiful as well.

I hope these tips were helpful for you booking your next portrait session. Summer is here. Pamper yourself to a nice fun photoshoot and feel fabulous :)
