ABOUT YOUR PORTRAIT SESSION
Each session is artfully guided beginning with professional hair & makeup performed by a licensed stylist. Your wardrobe will be carefully selected to achieve the look you desire. Your photo shoot will be skillfully directed to capture your personality and all your best features.
We bring the luxurious salon experience right to my studio where you can unwind and enjoy being pampered during your magazine-style photo shoot.
What to Expect
Step 1: Consultation
I invite you to schedule a complimentary tour and consultation with me at my beautiful home studio in San Diego or we can do the consultation over the phone. Take a look around, browse through my studio wardrobe, see and touch the beautiful products available, discuss what packages are available, and chat about ideas for your own fabulous photo shoot.
There is never any obligation to book, but if you feel confident that I’m the photographer for you, I’ll be happy to help you select a date for your big day!
Step 2: Schedule Your Session
Session times start between 11 am -3pm depending on the number of people being photographed with you. I’m currently booking weekday sessions out 2-3 weeks. Saturday sessions fill the fastest, so if you’re interested in a weekend, please contact me for availability. The session fee will be due at the time of booking.
Step 3: Scheduling Your Fitting Session
We will discuss your wardrobe at the consultation so you can plan your outfits ahead of time, but I encourage everyone to schedule their complimentary fitting session prior to their portrait session date. You are welcome to bring anything you wish to wear for your photo shoot and try on anything from my studio wardrobe. I will help you select the most flattering pieces and accessorize the outfits that will help complete your style. I recommend scheduling your fitting session two weeks prior to your session date.
Step 4: Your Session Day!
You will receive a list of how to prepare and what to bring prior to your session date. I will also confirm your arrival time. Upon your arrival, you will be shown to your dressing area and offered a beverage. Once you are settled, we’ll begin with your hair and makeup. We’ll consult with you on how you wish to see your hair and makeup.
Once you have approved your makeover, we will ease in to your photo shoot by helping make you comfortable in front of the camera. I will be directing you every step of the way. We’ll share a lot of laughs and you can soak up the experience while feeling like a celebrity!
Step 5: Your Reveal Session
You will be invited back to my studio approximately 2-3 weeks after the photo shoot to view your images and make your selection. Products are sold separately with images starting at $275 and packages starting at $1395. Some people spend $600 and some people spend $6000.What you fall in love with and wish to purchase will be entirely up to you! With every print purchased, I will provide the complimentary matching digital file plus a print release.
